I didn't know you had German-speaking relatives. I only know a tiny amount of German, but I have actually spoken it, in Germany.

I've never been able to get too far into learning languages, but I do enjoy them.

Yup, me either ... coming from a *very* german family I understand a bit more than I actually speak ... but gosh, hearing people spreche deutsche makes me homesick
