I've been initiated ...

After avoiding it for the last 2 months, I've been introduced to the game I affectionately call "crack" for the boys. Last night I let Q teach me the rudiments of Worlds of Warcraft. I'm playing a night elf - and I managed to get to level 3, after killing some game and collecting some herbs for a centaur ... what a hoot. I also managed to discover where the time goes ... what only felt like a few minutes actually was a little over an hour... how the hell did that happen?!

I suspect this will mean some updated computer parts, a new computer, and 'cracking with boys' on a semi-regular basis. lapsedagnostic & veskrashen I'll get you for this ;-)

Five years ago today ...

My daughter M was born at home after a whirlwind labor of only 2.5 hours. She's been running at the same speed ever since ... and keeping us on our toes. Happy 5th Birthday, lovely girl, may the next year be amazing!
