What we can do for those affected by Katrina...

I have a lot I could say, but I'm putting my money out there instead .... will you do the same? Here are links that will help those in need directly :

Salvation Army A $100 donation to The Salvation Army will feed a family of four for two days, provide two cases of drinking water and one household clean-up kit, containing brooms, mops, buckets, and cleaning supplies

for those who want to help the animals in need of rescue ...

Refugee are headed to DC

400 Families will be arriving this weekend at the DC Armory.

The delivery site is 415 4th ST SE That is the police First District HQ.

202-698-0515. Deliveries accepted 24/7.

They
stressed that their biggest needs at this time are bottled water and
anything that would constitute a "care package." For example,
toothbrushes, toothpaste, blankets, undergarments, soap, etc.


(note: don't forget about tampons and/or pads for the women, eh? -PSue)
