With Thanksgiving ....

It's Thanksgiving morning here. The quiet before all the cooking and bustling. We're watching the original version of Fantasia. My niece stayed the night and is curled up with the girls who are giggling. I am happy.

The last 3 days, I've been at a birth every day. My sweet husband lapsedagnostic stepped up and made sure to buy all the fixings for Thanksgiving. He also got the turkey in the brine yesterday. Fortunately yesterday's birth came early in the morning and I was still able to come home and make my famous apple-kiwi pie by 1.

This year I have so much to be grateful for ....

My husband, children and family
My partner B
My SCA clan/household which increased in numbers and love this year
Our home (yay, refinance!)
Jobs that we both love
Finishing my first triathlon!
Being asked to help join together relationships

And of course .... *you* .... my friends. I'm grateful for being in my/our lives and allowing us to connect with yours. I hope this Thanksgiving finds you with food in your belly, a warm place to be and a smile to share it with.
