Damn, a good day so far

Woke up at 6, rested even. Exercised for 40 minutes... not my best, but better than lying on my ass. Showered, herded the kids into clothes, made breakfast & snacks for the short ones, made a healthy breakfast for myself, packed a healthy snack for the shopping expedition I'm leaving for in about 10 minutes. Started dinner for the slow cooker (italian pork loin over sauteed onions with broth and wine). Made a grocery list (last night even) full of supplies needed for South Beach'n it this week. Have *not* had a smoke today - gave the pack to Quasi yesterday. Have a plan for getting through the rest of today (well ... mostly). Windows in the house are open, birds are singing and the sun is shining. ~snoopy dance~

How are y'all this morning?

I like a couple of things about getting up in the morning.

It's easier to schedule (or more resistant to having your workout knocked off the day's schedule). Once you are done, you can go to work very awake and very alter. And youneed less coffee.

And, even if everything else during the day turns to dirt, who can at least say that you got one good thing done!

It does kind of require one to retire early in the evening, rather than spend all night at the pub though.
