Woke up at 6, rested even. Exercised for 40 minutes... not my best, but better than lying on my ass. Showered, herded the kids into clothes, made breakfast & snacks for the short ones, made a healthy breakfast for myself, packed a healthy snack for the shopping expedition I'm leaving for in about 10 minutes. Started dinner for the slow cooker (italian pork loin over sauteed onions with broth and wine). Made a grocery list (last night even) full of supplies needed for South Beach'n it this week. Have *not* had a smoke today - gave the pack to Quasi yesterday. Have a plan for getting through the rest of today (well ... mostly). Windows in the house are open, birds are singing and the sun is shining. ~snoopy dance~

How are y'all this morning?

It's a most excellent morning, reduced only by the fact that I am sitting here at my desk at work.

Woke up beside the Lovely Kel this AM, which always brings a smile to my face.

Glad your day is shaping up so well.

see? I tell you, get the exercise out of the way early in the morning means you don't have it hanging over your head for the rest of the day. It gives you energy you wouldn't have otherwise.

pair it with eating healthfully and stopping smoking? Lady, you're going to feel better than you have in a long, long while.

I'm so proud I could burst!

I like a couple of things about getting up in the morning.

It's easier to schedule (or more resistant to having your workout knocked off the day's schedule). Once you are done, you can go to work very awake and very alter. And youneed less coffee.

And, even if everything else during the day turns to dirt, who can at least say that you got one good thing done!

It does kind of require one to retire early in the evening, rather than spend all night at the pub though.

This morning I was in the orthodontist's chair, getting those cursed spacers out, to be replaced with BRACES. They're in now, and after that I got to take myself to A. J. Wright (with DH's permission) and console myself with new handbags. I believe I've got my handbags for daytime and evening for spring & summer all sorted now! :D

It's a gorgeous day indeed! There's daffodils bloomin' in my yard! Just wish I could eat something 'sides ice cream & soup! :D

*hugs*

5 qt slow cooker - 2 lbs pork loin. cut up 1 onion, saute until limp in a little butter and a little bit of beef broth. Spray bottom of crock pot with canola oil (or something similar), put in onions, put pork in, rub with a little oil and italian seasoning. Add 1 cup beef broth (or boullion) and a splash of white wine, cut on low 8 to 10 hours, or high 5 to 6 hours.
