Thank you -- I don't know about the .net part, but I can ask.

Have him send it on to this person: Kodolikar@rdacorp.com
First name is Nilesh. Good guy.
Have Quasi let him know he is the one I asked about.

Can I presume he doesn't want to travel?

[identity profile] make-your-move.livejournal.com 2006-08-23 05:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Preferably not give our situation with our kids.

[identity profile] toki-warax.livejournal.com 2006-08-23 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Does he have a clearance or can he get one?

[identity profile] make-your-move.livejournal.com 2006-08-23 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I do not think he has a clearance, but he could probably get one.

[identity profile] toki-warax.livejournal.com 2006-08-23 05:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I will check with my company and organization to see what may be available.

If you can send me a copy of his resume, I can forward it to my HR people.

I know our programmers are leaving in waves (like rats from a sinking ship). But, their replacements need UNIX and Linux experience as well as Windows.

He can always try http://www.opm.gov click the link for "Career Opportunities"

Somewhere, the feds are always hiring.

You might be sort of in luck, as a little birdie has told me there will be a revised list of opportunities at Ft Belvoir posted soon. That would be in your neck of the woods.

Just let us know where to find the info :)

[identity profile] make-your-move.livejournal.com 2006-08-23 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll see if he's looked into that. Thanks babe.

Talk to [livejournal.com profile] steam?

[identity profile] catya.livejournal.com 2006-08-23 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Or if he sees anything on the MITRE website (MacLean, VA), let me know, my word is still probably worth something there.

[identity profile] camperamy.livejournal.com 2006-08-23 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Have him please send me his resume at the pyratechick email. I have a friend who has her own business and is placing folks like crazy..don't know the skill sets she is looking for, but it certainly won't hurt.

Hi there- I found you via [livejournal.com profile] kellfire.

I used to work as an office manager for Mindshare Interactive Campaigns in DC. When we needed new tech people, we'd often use net-temps.com (http://www.net-temps.com/regional/WashingtonDCJobs/) to find them. Most of their permanent staff started at temp status.

Hope that helps. :-)
