Up at 6am (again) ...
This morning I decided to go with Instructional Bellydance with Jillina Level 1. If I didn't get my abs in yesterday, I certainly got them in today. It wasn't a conventional 'workout' so I didn't sweat nearly as much, but it is a *lot* of working your abs, hips and legs. I enjoyed it, but I was frustrated in that, some of these moves are *not* what I think of as beginning - she breaks it down into "techniques" and then "combos", with the eventual goal of teaching you an entire routine. My frustration is that during each of the separate sections in the beginning, she uses different music than the muscial piece at the end - so when you're trying to put it all together you miss the musical cues that tell you what to do, and where to move next. *argh*
But I did get through the entire DVD which was about 45 minutes. Since I feel like I didn't really push myself this morning - I will probably break out the treadmill this afternoon, and maybe do some workout on the exercise ball. Ani and I picked up a ball workout book last night at Michael's for $5.
Oh, and the not smoking thing? Making me a cranky, snappy, short-tempered bitch. My patience level is about this high (put your thumb and index finger flat togehter), yeah, there. *fuck*
How are you all this morning?
