I'm home and what a lovely birth

it was ..gentle .. that's a great word for it. Straightforward, easy, no tears, great baby, and I'm home before midnight and soon off to a full night's sleep. The only sad part was when I fell down the last few stairs about an hour after the baby was born, no I wasn't holding the baby ... but I was holding the cord blood tubes which I did not squeeze and shatter -- but my back hurts like a bitch now.

Thank you everyone who sent me hugs :) Things are looking up.
