A weekend full
Jul. 5th, 2004 09:57 amfull of good times. Friday afternoon was spent at the pool with the kidlets and in the company of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pyrategrrl and her lovely hubby 3ravensringo. A tasty dinner of bar-b-que and ribs courtesy of Dixie Bones followed and then a lovely evening at the club. I had two really great topping scenes. One a co-topping scene with 3 of my favorite ladies to hang with - and the other an intense scene with a top friend who was in need of some mental clearing space. All in all a satisfying day _and_ night.
Saturday I woke up very slow. That's not entirely true - my mind woke up slow, but my day started quick with trying to get all the girls ready for a birthday party. After a rushed trip through Toys R Us - we dropped them off and then home for a quick shower so I could make a client appt at 1pm (while my lovely hubby *napped* ... gee, some people have all the luck *g*) Drove out to Warrenton, fought through traffic headed to the Buffet concert, pool sharks everywhere!.
Later that evening Q and I went to bar-b-que with terrific food and thoroughly enjoyable company. Thank you so much for a delightful evening!
Yesterday we packed up for an enjoyable afternoon atwilfulcaits house. Much sewing and crafting and eating ensued. A brief foray out to the house sale of a SCAdian friend netted rugs for our pavillion and a soft case carrier for luggage for the van. Throughout the day it rained on and off but we were all happily inside (even the munchkins). Later in the evening the skies dried long enough for us to set off the small box of fireworks we'd brought. The kids enjoyed it for the most part, although M (our 4 year old) retreated to inside to watch from the window "because it's too loud out here". I didn't get as much done as I wanted, but I spent the afternoon hanging out with terrific people in a beautiful house and eating like a fool. What more can you ask for?
