I will never get done ...
Jul. 20th, 2004 09:28 amI have so much to do/sew before Pennsic and no time.
Yesterday I spent the day running my teenager back and forth to the doctor and x-ray place because she got stepped on by a horse Friday at her last day of camp and my ex did not/would not take her to see someone over the weekend. So I had to go over Sunday, looked at her bruised and still slightly swollen foot and badger him ... then he has the balls to ask me to take her so that he can still go to work. Not that I mind doing it for her, but it's the assumption that because I don't have a 9 to 5 job, my days are automatically free MORON. Yes, I know that was my outside voice. Any way, after mucho running around, and good face time with my kid -- the x-ray showed no break or fracture. I hope Jim(the ex) trips on a deck chair on the cruise ....
Last night I discovered after finally locating the patterns .. I really do not have enough plain cotton material to make A enough chemises for war. So now, another trip to the fabric store (with the 3 short ones) today, then washing then cutting, and somewhere in there I'll eventually sew....
We haven't unpacked the pavillion outta the garage - need to assess the canvas and whether or not we'll need new poles. Must go through the camp boxes and restock. Need new shower bags, necessitating a trip to WalMart. blah-blah, blah-blah, blah-blah ...
