That's right ... I'm back ...

You know there are days where you can't wait to be on the road, but the minute you're there, you realize how much you're going to miss what you're leaving? Well, today was that day. We left Pennsic around 12:45. The last night was gorgeous, with the most beautiful stars in the sky. The morning broke with a mist so thick you could see it falling around you. We broke camp for everyone as quickly as possible, and when it came time to go, and I hugged wilfulcait and then mellyflori I looked in their eyes and I started to cry. I wanted to go home, really, really wanted to go home, and yet, I could barely bring myself to leave....

The drive home was good but long... and I'm grateful we made it home safely.

There are lots of stories, and lots to recount, but I need sleep and decompression time ... oh, and a long, hot, wet, drenching bath with lots of foot scrubbing.

Tonight I sleep in the arms of my beloved.

Tomorrow I unpack and clean and get ready for my 1st night of school
