Because I had to do something
Jan. 19th, 2005 11:12 amI got on the treadmill for the first time in months this morning ... no, not at the gym - we bought a treadmill a week or so ago, and Q has been getting on it at least 4 nights a week (go babe!). Today, I finally decided I had to get off my ass - we're already more than mid way through January and do something. My goal is at least 2 miles a day, 4 to 5 days a week - intensity will vary. I even managed a short run at 4mph for about 2 minutes. Me and the South Beach diet book have a lunch date this afternoon, and to further motivate myself I went and joined the Discovery Health National Fitness Challenge. Last day to sign up is today, so if you're interested, go check them out. Their first show is tonight at 10pm (EST) which I plan on watching.
