Perils of Home ownership ...

For weeks, since the beginning of summer we've had invasion of the ants ~le sigh~. Tried mostly everything, but we can't seem to get rid of the blasted things. So I broke down and called the pest control folks. Turns out, the larger ants that I thought we're just sugar eating ants are carpentar ants. Like their smaller counterparts, attracted to sugar, but once you have them inside they'll form their own free-love commune and take up residence. Cost for the eviction notice $400+ *damn, damn, damn*
