Age, sexuality and the media

In doing some research for my midwifery studies - one of the topics I am addressing is age and it's effect on sexuality and sexual desire. One of my suppositions is that if aging were'nt a bad word in this (american) society, women would be more inclined to celebrate their changes rather than try to hide or reverse them. I cited a campaign by Dove (soap) that has been quite controversial on and off the the last couple of years.
