Not home, but safe
Aug. 10th, 2008 06:05 pmWell, it's been an interesting end to my Pennsic vacation. In the grand tradition of getting stuck after War ... I'm stuck.
When I went to get the van from the parking lot it barely started and it's been idling *extremely* roughly .... I tried a fuel injector cleaner and some dry gas, but no luck. I got as far as Breezewood with a blinking engine light ... but right after getting gas (as I am only getting 15mi a gallon) the engine light went from blinking to solid. There's a Dodge dealership in Bedford, which apparently is not far from here. I'll call USAA to tow me there tomorrow morning. Hopefully this will not be an expensive fix and they will be able to get me in tomorrow morning and out the same day.
So, not home, but safe at a Best Western with a bed, a shower and a TV and access to the internet.
Wish I was home, but happy Widge and I are not sleeping on the side of the road.
