I'm sorry. I have had to make the same decision with respect to my partners. And it hurts. I'm having regular dreams in which I'm with them and then remember that I can't be because of the pandemic.
Is there any chance they could at least come over for socially distanced visits? I've had a couple of those--sitting at least 6 feet away in the back yard on newly disinfected chairs, eating food that was delivered and served with hands washed thoroughly immediately beforehand. It's obviously not remotely the same, but it at least allows for seeing them.
