when they call you at the last minute and offer you a ticket to the Great Big Sea
SOLD OUT, St. Patrick's Day gig at the 9:30 club. Not only did I hang out with two of my best friends, wilfulcaitwho hooked me up with the ticket and mellyflori who is about the biggest fan of GBS that I know. Read about concert highlights and see picspam! here. We had spots ~dead center~, and despite the amazing crush of people, the rest of them were reasonably well behaved. Cait brought her 13 year old daughter K with her and she was entranced. I would of noticed her extraordinary bounciness, but we were all bouncing along with her :) Got home after midnight after listening to "Boston to St. John" song about 5 times and crawled into bed with my very generous husband lapsedagnostic, tired but happy.

I'm half dead today, but managing to get stuff done for my upcoming trip to Vegas in a couple of days... Called Customer Service, and the fraud dept at CC company and ripped them a new one, which made me feel *infinitely* better. Finished the bills, almost done with the laundry... need to nap.
