Yesterday we were fortunate enough to attend the Privateer Feast with ani_moore and russell_moore who treated us to a lovely evening. Team Wench walks for Breast Cancer Awareness every year and this is one of their main events. Great thanks to the organizers and event staff for this amazing night of food and entertainment. They are webqatch, museclio, orlacarey (who cooked), thatliardiego (who was Master of Ceremonies for the fantastic entertainment) and that's just a few.

Last night over $10,000 was raised. Huzzah!

One of these years, we are going to be able to get tickets to this event. I just know it! We've missed out on the last two and now this year as well.

darlin, next year got on the waiting list. I went down the *entire* waiting list this year.

waiting list?? *rolls eyes* I didn't even know there 'was' a waiting list. LOL I figured I had to try and get the tickets online when they went on sale. DOH!! Next year, I will find this elusive waiting list of which you speak and add our names to it. Thank you for the heads up, my dear. Very enlightening. *hugs*

I would imagine that next year will be done rather like this year. The info on the waiting list will probably be, like this year, on the same page as the ticket info.

What I'm seeing happening is people getting word of mouth without all the information. My best advice would be to check teamwench.org and the yahoogroup TeamWenchEvents where the info is always posted.

FYI - you can always get more info on more Team Wench Events (PF, MSFB, PfF, and more!) by subscribing to the (very low volume) Team Wench Events email list. This is where the official announcements regarding ticket sales & special events always happens first.

1. Yep, I sure do ... didn't even think to ask what to do if it was sold out cause it always seemed to be a done deal.
2. never made it that far. I saw "ebay auction for tickets" and stopped there. My own fault, yaknow? When I followed Mym's above link to the same page? THERE IT WAS, plain as the nose on your face. LOL Again, myowndamnedfault for not being more thorough.

Next year? We WILL score tickets to this most worthy and bawdy event. I promise ya!!!
