There's much that I could write about this Pennsic. It was really, really great for the most part, and there were a couple of real lows, as happens every year. I'm gonna stick with the highlights so far as I can....

*The trip up with Widgeon was relaxed and funny - and spurred this quote, "You gave me a free ride for 9 months, I'm sure another 5 hours won't kill you"
*After a rotten back-up on I-79 N, got checked in on site before dark with my loves and peeps

mellyflori surprising me/us by showing up land grab morning. Made me cry. (Thank you to

svandevander for making that happen!)
*Land grab went incredibly smooth - everyone showed up and we were the first ones through the line!
*Having almost everyone there for set up - bestest clan ever:

*Being the first customer at Your Inner Vagabond after walking Widgeon up to work her first shift. Iced Siamese Coffee - *best*taste*ever* (for the day).

*Catching up with

quicktongue this War. All to brief, but a lot of fun :)
*Much bellydancing with Widgeon and some with the wife this War.
*Found fantastic skirts at the market place for $10. Yes, $10! Flowing, sparkling, shimmering ... pretty!
*Had one of the best block potlucks ever - lots of people, lots of food and conversations
*Fantastic down time in camp with the clan. Laughter, tears, conversations, craft-y-ness on a daily basis.
*Having

svandevander come up for one last hurrah before baby arrived!
*Our party got rained out - but brave souls showed up anyway and there was dancing in the rain!
*A new baby wench in the clan! Yay baby Chloe!
*Spending time with my family - even if it was too short.
*Sharing my 40th birthday and enjoying my loves birthdays as well.
*Having a lovely in camp date night with da boyfriend

*Had a really special, surprise anniversary dinner with

belthazar_b. There's now a named star in the sky "Pennsic Love" and I have the certificate to show it :)

*Eat it, drink it, burn it night and B and I beating John and Morgana at Euchre.
