What misconceptions do you think people have of you?
Wow ... I've been sitting on this for awhile, because I wasn't sure how to answer it. Let's see. The one that people have said that always surprises me is that they find me intimidating and not in a scene type way. I don't think I am, and am unsure how to not project that.
A lot of people also thing I have my shite together all the time and really, sometimes I don't. I just don't talk about that much in LJ.
What is the best way for someone to make you feel appreciated?
This is another one I had a hard time answering. Really what makes me feel appreciated is when somebody notices that i've done something. Sometimes it's nice if there is also a thanks of some sort, but it's not always necessary. If someone wants to make me feel appreciated (gift wise), paying attention and knowing what I like is awesome (like knowing what my favorite color is, or what my favorite thing is like my love for grapes, grape motifs, etc.) Knowing that I love beading and crafting and going shopping with me there .... A heartfelt hug or smile is also really wonderful.
What, if anything, scares you?
Losing any of my children, not being there for them. Living a life without making a positive contribution and impact on the world. A life without love, family or friends near by. Hurting those that I love and losing their love/respect.
How do you react to the thought that so many people form affectionate/lustful images of you?
It still takes me by surprise. I'm really, genuinely flattered.
