Saddest Day of Summer

Pulling out the flowerbeds that were falling apart.

It took 5 hours to get everything done. 3 hours to pull the flowers and weeds and bag them and 2 hours to do the lawn, the trimming and cleaning.

At least at my mother's house it was cause she planted annuals that needed to be pulled every year.

Favorite part of gardening was ripping the plants out and smashing the dirt out of the roots. ;)
