I'm looking for a site that lists the attendance numbers for Pennsic by year. And possibly a history of how we came to Cooper's Lake.

I've found the (brief) history on the pennsicwar.org site, but it only goes back to 33. I'm looking for something more extensive.

Bueller? Anyone?

I don't know if it's fact or not. But an old timer once told me that it used to be held in late September when it was at it's previous site. Sometimes it would snow. Yikes.

I think it was moved to cooper's lake because they could handle the numbers. I suspect the date change was at the same time.

Not facts. Just what I remember someone telling me.
