I saved thisssss much
Aug. 29th, 2007 02:58 pmSince I was old enough to earn a paycheck, I have always loved frequenting thrift shops and second hand stores. A new thrift shop opened near us about 4 or so months ago. It is huge and it is fabulous. Brightly lit, try-it-on rooms, books, purses, housewares. After yesterday's bout of productiveness, I took all the girls shopping there today to finish off the last of the school shopping. And for less than $120 bucks I came home with 16 pairs of pants (all for the girls and the Widgeon), 1 jacket, 8 shirts (2 for me) and a small travel purse. Two huge bags full. If I'd gone to the mall, I don't think I could of picked up 3 pairs of jeans for the Widgeon for that much.
I've decided that before I head out for my cruise at the end of September, I'm going there one day after taking the girls to school and do a little shopping for me in the peace and quiet and I can spend a couple hours perusing the racks.
~hums~ It's good to be a (smart shopper) girl.
